A person-to-person idea

About Lifeline US

Lifeline US gives Canadians a place to describe practical household needs and potentially connect with individual Americans who want to help.

Two audiences, one connection

The Canadian side of the bridge

LifelineUS.org is designed for Canadian adults requesting assistance. AdoptCanada.org is designed for Americans interested in supporting a Canadian household.

If an introduction is available, the Canadian participant shares an Amazon.ca wishlist and the American participant independently chooses whether to purchase an item.

Personal

Support is between individual adults, not paid into a general fund.

Practical

The focus is everyday household goods selected by the requester.

Optional

A request creates no entitlement, and a supporter has no purchase obligation.

Honest expectations
